Our arrival went a bit sideways. We landed around 1:00 pm and expected to have lunch before a 4:00 pm check-in. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the host informed us that the cleaning crew was still working. After waiting until 5:49 pm for an update, we reached out but got no response. It wasn't until 7:02 pm that we inquired again, and we were told we'd receive a status soon. Eventually, we managed to check in just before 7:45 pm. To our disappointment, we discovered a leak in the downstairs bathroom, and workers were still tiling the floor, which they continued to do until about 9:30 pm. The kitchen was left cluttered with a used sink, toilet, and plunger throughout our stay. We never received an apology or any effort to rectify the situation. I inquired about a partial refund for the inconvenience and was told the owner would need to be consulted, but I never got a follow-up. Overall, this experience was rather disheartening, and I wouldn't consider booking here again.
I would give the host five stars based solely on their service, but there were a few issues with the unit itself that need addressing. One of the faucets in the bathroom was broken, and the host promptly arranged for it to be repaired. Additionally, one of the bathtubs could have been cleaner, and the towels provided weren't the highest quality. The property manager should consider replacing them.
The owner was incredibly attentive and supportive during our three-week visit. The location was also perfect for our needs.
The apartment was excellent and in a fantastic area, perfect for exploring the city.

We spent three weeks at this property and enjoyed every moment. The location couldn't be better! As first-time visitors to West Palm, we were thrilled with our choice. Almost everything we needed was just a short drive away, and some spots were within walking distance, which was a nice surprise. The neighborhood was peaceful and felt secure, which added to our comfort. This charming Airbnb is a century-old house, and we loved the pool and cabana area in the backyard. The two additional 'casitas' were great for accommodating our large group. The host was very attentive and eager to ensure we had a fantastic stay. If I had to suggest improvements, I would recommend updating the washer/dryer and providing better pillows, but overall this place is highly recommended for anyone traveling in a large group looking for a prime location in West Palm.
