Entire rental unit. Charming Townhome in the Heart of South Tampa / Hyde Park

The host came to our rescue late at night when we found ourselves in a sticky situation with our previous booking. The other rental wasn’t prepared when we got there, but thankfully we were able to check in with him without any hassle. Everything was perfect for a last-minute stay!

The host truly simplified our stay. Even with our unexpected flight delay, they went out of their way to be there upon our arrival and provided a thorough tour of the house. We are grateful for all the assistance!

We arrived at the property around 1:00 pm and anticipated being able to check in by 4:00 pm after grabbing some lunch. However, we were informed at 4:00 that the cleaning crew was still working. After waiting until 5:49 pm without any update, we inquired again and still received no clear response. By 7:02 pm, we were finally told that they would provide us with an update, but it wasn’t until around 7:45 pm that we were able to check in. To our dismay, we discovered there was ongoing work in the downstairs bathroom due to a leak, and tiling was still in progress. The workers were cutting tiles until about 9:30 pm, and unfortunately, they left tools and the old toilet and sink in the kitchen throughout our stay. We never received an apology or any effort to rectify the situation. I asked about a potential refund for the delayed check-in and issues faced, but was told that the owner needed to be consulted, and I never received any follow-up. Overall, this experience was quite disappointing. I would hesitate to book with them again.
