We arrived at the property after our flight landed around 1:00 PM, hoping to check in at 4:00 PM and grab some lunch in the meantime. However, when we returned at 4:00, the cleaning crew was still working, and we were informed that it would take a bit longer. After several inquiries, including one at 5:49 PM and another at 7:02 PM, we were finally let in around 7:45 PM. To our surprise, there was a leak in the downstairs bathroom, and the workers were busy tiling the floor, making quite a bit of noise until about 9:30 PM. Even more frustrating was that they left behind used bathroom fixtures in the kitchen for the duration of our stay. Unfortunately, we never received an apology or any attempt to rectify the situation. I inquired about a partial refund for the delayed check-in and the ongoing issues but only received word that the host would need to consult the owners—and I never got a follow-up. Overall, it was a letdown, and I wouldn't recommend renting from this host again.
