Our arrival was around 1:00 PM, and we were excited to start our vacation. We planned to have lunch and check in at 4:00 PM, but when we arrived, we were informed that the cleaning crew was still at the property and it would take longer than expected. We checked back at 5:49 PM but received no updates. After several inquiries, we finally got inside around 7:45 PM. Unfortunately, we discovered there was plumbing work happening due to a leak in the downstairs bathroom, and workers were busy tiling until nearly 9:30 PM. To make matters worse, there was a toilet and sink left in the kitchen during our stay, which was quite off-putting. We didn't receive any apologies or attempts to rectify the situation, and when I asked about a possible refund for the inconvenience, I was told the owner would need to be consulted, but I never heard back. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I can't see myself booking with them again.

This guesthouse is a fantastic and reasonably priced option in the often pricey West Palm Beach rental scene. It's perfect for a solo traveler, a couple, or a couple of friends, as the bed configuration can be adjusted to either twins or a king size. The location is ideal, placing you close to all the attractions in WPB. The kitchen has been nicely updated with modern appliances like a range, fridge, and beautiful countertop features. The bathroom renovations were well thought out, including a dimmer switch that enhances the ambiance. Both the bedroom and living area come equipped with ceiling fans, alongside excellent air conditioning to keep things comfortable. The closet space is particularly impressive, featuring a well-organized rack and shelving system. There’s also shared access to a washer and dryer, as well as off-street parking adjacent to the main house, which is another short-term rental option if you need additional space. The host was very responsive and addressed any small concerns we had quickly and efficiently. Overall, the property met our expectations, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with this host again.
