Entire rental unit. Charming South Tampa Retreat

The location of the property was quite a bit further from the convention center than I anticipated, taking over 30 minutes to walk and just around 5 minutes by car. The room itself was on the smaller side with only a double bed, a sofa, and a small table. Unfortunately, the shower was not functioning properly, and the kitchen amenities were lacking as well. Considering the price point, I found it to be quite unreasonable for the facilities offered. Thankfully, the cancellation policy allowed for a full refund, but the cost of over $300 feels excessive given the space and amenities provided. I hope they can reconsider the pricing and improve the available facilities.

The location was fantastic, situated in a safe and friendly neighborhood, making it perfect for our family getaway. The pool was a nice feature, although the heater wasn't functional during our stay, so we ended up using the hot tub, which was quite enjoyable! The guest studios near the pool are compact but offer great privacy, which was a bonus. Keep in mind that the property has a bit of an older charm, so you might notice some signs of wear. Additionally, we had trouble with the refrigerator and freezer not working properly; the freezer was barely cold, leaving us without ice as everything melted. The stairs can be tricky, and there's only one bedroom on the main level, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who have difficulty with mobility. Also, there's no bathroom or shower in the main house downstairs. Overall, the pricing was reasonable for the area, especially when shared among several families.

The host was incredibly welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable.
